Fam Pics & Baby Kayla

First I want to say CONGRATS to my sister-in-law Kira on her beautiful baby girl. Kayla Dawn was welcomed to the world May 4th at about 2:40 pm. She weighed 7 lbs. 14 oz and has lots of dark hair. Mom and baby are doing well and will be released from the hospital in the next day or so. I love you Kira & Kayla!!


Also May 4th is full of birthdays so HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my neice Harley, my brand new neice Kayla, cousin Austin, cousin Denni, and my late aunt Darlene! I love you all!

On April 17th we headed North for Rosie's (another sister-in-law) baby shower. Her friend, sister, and mom did such a great job with it. Sorry I didn't take any pics, but it was so fun and baby Ellie got LOTS of fun gifts. I can't wait to meet her in only a few short weeks. I am so very excited for Mark and Rosie. They will be the most amazing parents!! :)

While we were North for the shower, we got the pleasure of having an old friend of ours take our family photos. She did them for us about 18 months or so ago and she is amazing! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

I just wanted to wish our handsome Hagen a HAPPY 3rd BIRTHDAY! I can't believe it has been 3 years already. I seems like yesterday Chase and I were sitting nervously in the bathroom staring at a stick I just peed on. LOL.

Hagen is definately the light of our lives. He has made life more fulfilling than I could ever imagine it being! He does try our patience these days, but we wouldn't trade him for the world! Yesterday Hagen helped me make cupcakes for him to take to his "buddies" aka daycare friends and this is the face he made when I told him "Say Cheese" He is such a goof ball!!

This year we spoiled him with a brand new 4-wheeler. We gave it to him on Easter weekend since that's when we celebrated his (and Grady and both Grandma's) birthdays. We have a hard time getting him off of it these days.

Hagen, I just want to tell you that you are SOOOOO special to us and we love you more than you could ever imagine. Hope you have a wonderful birthday "McNoggin". :)

Quickie!

Hey, I noticed it's been a while since I updated this so here is a quickie update. Last weekend Chase and I were able to attend a benefit for Marie Hawkins. Can I just say that I absolutely LOVE living in this community?! When someone is in need everyone steps up and helps out. It is so touching to see all the people who came and the money that was raised! Chase bought Emerson Drive tickets at the benefit so we are going to have a little get away next weekend to Wendover. We have never been so it should be alot of fun.

We are attending another benefit this weekend for Amber Olsen. I hope everyone comes out to support her and her cute little family. We got the chance to talk to her for a few minutes at Marie's benefit. After we talked with her Chase had been sitting there very serious for a few minutes and turned to me and said he wanted to ride for her. (It's a bull wars rodeo btw) Yes, we know the risk Chase is taking because of his head injury so he will be wearing a helmet and hopefully it helps, but this is something that is very personal to Chase. Chase knows exactly what Amber's children are battling with and seeing her Saturday brought all that to the surface for him again. I will quit all that before I start blubbering like a baby again so anyway, we are both scared to death, but it is for an AMAZING cause! :)
